The Israeli Opera is one of Israel's main cultural pillars. It offers annual presentations of high-quality opera, combining local talent with first-rate international directors, conductors and singers. In addition, the Israeli Opera invests resources and efforts in the production of the opera genre for audiences in the outlying suburbs and smaller towns, as well as children and young people. The Fund has upheld its continuing support of the Israeli Opera for a number of years. 

Dafna Meitar-Nechmad the Foundation president, has served as chairman of the Israeli Opera Friends Association, between 2005-2012.
