The girls' choir of the Music Conservatory in Tel Aviv is conducted by Anat Morag. The girls are aged between 12 – 18, and they acquire an extensive musical education: voice training and development, movement, and the history of music. The choir's performances have received enthusiastic reviews and numerous prizes for its appearances at festivals and competitions in this country and abroad and with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the Israeli Opera, on television, in theaters, and concerts for the public at large. In addition to the main choir , two other choirs are active, each composed of about 70 singerss aged 7 – 12.

 

The Fund has sponsored projects of the choir for a number of years and awards grants for singing lessons to outstanding singers. The fund has also financed a new children's opera written especially for the Bat Kol Choir by composer Eyal Batt, based on a story by K. Chukovsky and translated by the well-known Israeli writer Nathan Alterman.
